Workpiece Precision: No overhang in Y-axis, i.e. saddle does not move over the end of the slide guideway
Optimum surface quality:    Superb vibration damping by large contact areas of slide elements
Long Lifetime: Slide surfaces heat treated, nitride hardened and fine grinded
VM7 with 4 guideways in the Y-axis
High Dynamics: Up to 36 m/min rapid speed

Hybrid Guide
Load Relieving System

Recommended option, especially for high table loads - compressed air is applied into the bearing pads of the precision squared sliding guides.

The result is an improved cutting accuracy by:

  • considerable reduction of the surface pressure in the slideway, generated by the mass of table and workpiece
  • minimization of the Lost-Motion values
